Brian E. Krapf

Trial Attorney

Brian was born and raised in Savannah and heads the nursing home litigation trial team for the firm. He has been selected as one of the Georgia Top 100 by the National Trial Lawyers Association every year since 2012 and is an active member of NTLA’s Nursing Home Litigation specialty association. Brian has received awards from the American Academy of Trial Attorneys, American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, and America’s Top 100 Attorneys.

Practice Areas

Background

Since graduating law school in 1991, Mr. Krapf has focused his practice on the representation of hard-working people who have suffered physical, mental or emotional injuries through the negligence of other individuals or corporations. While Mr. Krapf handles varying types of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases, his specialty areas of practice include nursing home abuse and neglect; premises liability, making property owners accept responsibility for preventable rapes, deaths and serious physical injuries; dental malpractice and injuries; and traumatic brain injuries.

In addition to Georgia, he is one of a small number of Savannah lawyers admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C. and one of very few Savannah lawyers admitted to practice before the United States Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Krapf lectures at legal seminars, particularly on nursing home negligence and malpractice, teaching other lawyers and their support staffs legal techniques and strategies to protect our vulnerable elderly citizens.

Since beginning his practice of law in 1991, Mr. Krapf has obtained substantial verdicts, settlements and arbitration awards for his clients. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Krapf is active in charitable community organizations and is also a Boy Scout volunteer. Also, Mr. Krapf is a nationally recognized political historian, has published numerous historical articles, has had television and radio appearances on CNN, MSNBC and NPR and has been interviewed by many national magazines and journals. Mr. Krapf is a contributor to the International Churchill Society, which is a publication read by people all over the world.
